Problem-Solution, Example 1 (aka/Behind the Resume)

I developed a quick study guide for kindergartners.

One day my daughter brought home a note from her teacher that notified parents of a new test the state would be giving. The note included what seemed to be a very long list of new words. How could we possibly have the students ready in time?

I decided to develop a Kindergartner's Study Aid, Cliff Notes style.

I went to my computer, accessed an early version of Microsoft Publisher and went to work. I developed fun sentences using each word and added clip art to match.

I sent a copy to the teacher. Quickly she made copies and distributed to parents and other K Teachers.

I don't remember the scores. I do know that taking action helped me more than anyone. Feeling that I had helped decrease student, parent, and educator stress was reward in itself.

I wish I had saved a copy; but I didn't. You will just have to take me at my word, or, give me a new assignment to try to reconstruct it.

Welcome! Let's Communicate.

I believe in reciprocity when it makes sense. I am looking for relevant bloggers and sites to link up with. For you to determine if we have grounds for relevancy, please Google my name: Suzi Gravenstuk, and/or Google: Photos by Suzi.

This particular blog is a work in progress. I have many relevant links to add, posts to write, and products to review. It will be ever changing, so please subscribe so we don't lose each other. Again, I believe in reciprocity if it fits.

A dynamic fit does not include any hint of: bigotry, extreme political rantings, cursing, blaspheming, false or misleading information, less than stellar business ethics.

I am always looking for Problem Solvers in general and positive outlooks. Google allows up to 100 authors, you could be one to help me get positive, and/or realistic messages out to the public. Unfortunately, sometimes reality is not positive it itself, take the Gulf Crisis caused by BP for instance. But there is always an upside to almost every situation.
